Smoked Margarita

Tequila, fresh lime, and orange liqueur are shaken over ice and lightly smoked for a vibrant, citrus-forward sip. Finished with a salted rim and lime, it’s bright, smoky, and unforgettable.

  1. Rim a rocks or coupe glass with smoked salt and fill with ice.

  2. Place the Skull & Cinder cocktail smoker over the empty glass, ignite your chosen wood chips, and let the smoke fill the glass and linger while you prepare the drink.

  3. In a shaker, combine 2 oz reposado tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, ¾ oz Cointreau, and ½ oz agave syrup (optional). Shake vigorously with ice.

  4. Pour into the pre-smoked glass.

  5. Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge and serve.

Note: Before garnishing, place the Skull & Cinder cocktail smoker on the glass and smoke the drink again. This will add an extra flourish of aroma and presentation.
