Smoked Mint Julep
Bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh mint are muddled and poured over crushed ice, then gently smoked for a refreshing, aromatic twist on a classic. Finished with a mint sprig, it’s cool, crisp, and smoky.
In a Julep cup or rocks glass, lightly muddle 6–8 fresh mint leaves with ½ oz simple syrup to release the oils without shredding the leaves.
Add 2 oz bourbon and place the Skull & Cinder smoker on the glass. Ignite your chosen wood chips and allow smoke to infuse for 30–45 seconds.
Remove the smoker and fill the glass with crushed ice and stir gently until the outside of the glass begins to frost.
Top with additional crushed ice to form a dome over the glass.
Place the Skull & Cinder smoker on top again and smoke for an additional 30–45 seconds.
Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and serve.
