Smoked Mint Julep

Bourbon, simple syrup, and fresh mint are muddled and poured over crushed ice, then gently smoked for a refreshing, aromatic twist on a classic. Finished with a mint sprig, it’s cool, crisp, and smoky.

  1. In a Julep cup or rocks glass, lightly muddle 4-5 fresh mint leaves with ½ oz simple syrup to release the oils without shredding the leaves.

  2. Add 2 oz bourbon, a handful of crushed ice and mix.

  3. Place the Skull & Cinder smoker on the glass. Ignite your chosen wood chips (we recommend Cherry Bomb)and allow smoke to infuse for 30–45 seconds.

  4. Remove the smoker and fill the glass with crushed ice to form a dome over the glass.

  5. Place the Skull & Cinder smoker on top again and smoke for added depth.

  6. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and serve.
