Smoked Rosemary Bramble Sour

  1. Place the Skull & Cinder smoker on a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Add a sprig of rosemary to the smoking basket and ignite. Allow the rosemary smoke to linger in the glass as you prepare the drink.

  2. In a shaker with ice, combine 2 oz gin, ¾ oz fresh lemon juice, and ½ oz simple syrup. Shake vigorously until well chilled.

  3. Strain into the smoky glass and lightly stir in the smoke.

  4. Drizzle ½ oz crème de mûre (blackberry liqueur) over the top of the drink for the classic Bramble “float.”

  5. Gently stir once to create a layered effect, keeping the float visible.

  6. Optional - place the smoker back over the glass with another sprig of Rosemary for an additional 30–45 seconds of aromatic smoke.

  7. Garnish with a fresh blackberry and rosemary sprig, then serve.

Gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup are shaken and poured over ice, then gently smoked for a fragrant, herbal twist on a classic sour. Finished with blackberry and rosemary garnish, it’s bright, smoky, and beautifully layered.
